Room on Commercial Street in Portland, Maine—is a week of creative-writing adventure for students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior years of high school, or their freshman year of college. The Hive features one-on-one mentorship and close reading of student work, and is taught by award winning published authors who teach creative writing at the college level.

The second annual Portland Hive will be held August 2-6, 2010.  Price is $385.  Scholarships are available.
