<p><a href="http://tellingroom.org">Room</a> on Commercial Street in Portland, Maine—is a week of creative-writing adventure for students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior years of high school, or their freshman year of college. The Hive features one-on-one mentorship and close reading of student work, and is taught by award winning published authors who teach creative writing at the college level.</p>
<p>The second annual Portland Hive will be held August 2-6, 2010.  Price is $385.  Scholarships are available.</p>
